These are lovely, exactly as pictured. The hexagon shape means you lose some potentially valuable utensil real estate, esp if you have large plates. These look great on our table and taking up less space than our previous placemats means more of the wood table shows through. Love the shapes you can make out of the mats and coasters to create different sized spaces for dishes at parties, etc.
